It was a few days before my 16th birthday when I had asked my mom if I could get my belly button pierced. It was either that or my nose. My dad is totally against all types of piercings, even though I had 6 piercings (ears) at the time already.
I had asked before, if I could get it done when I was 14 but my mom had thought I was too young, and she didn’t want “another hole in your body.”
My parents finally agreed to let me get it done.
The piercer was really nice, and it didn’t hurt at all! They mark up your belly button with a marker, lay you down on a table, put a clamp on your skin and poke a needle through. All I felt was the needle, which only hurt for a few seconds, but that’s it.
It’s been a few months now, and I love it. And I can’t wait to change into a new ring!
